Baseform & Northern Portuguese City to Collaborate on Maximizing Efficiency & Asset Management

We are excited to announce our latest Portuguese partnership with the Municipality of Vila Nova de Famalicão.

Our newest Portuguese partner, Famalicão, is a city in the northern Braga district that provides water services to its 135,000 residents via a 1000-kilometer network.

In recognition of its consistent commitment to environmental sustainability, the Blue Flag Association of Europe recently designated Famalicão as an "eco-municipality." Famalicão is also dedicated to technological innovation and integration, with a focus on its use of the Internet of Things (IoT) to enhance connectivity across its sophisticated network. Given Baseform's stewardship of the environment and leadership role in the water software sector, this partnership with Famalicão is a natural fit. 

Accordingly, we look forward to working closely with our colleagues at Famalicão to achieve greater efficiency for their customers—as well as empowering the Municipality, through our software, to achieve its goal of proactive asset management, in order to ensure the best service for generations to come.
